Civil Engineer Careers

The title "civil engineer" refers to a broad group of engineers that also include architectural, structural, traffic, ocean, and geo-technical engineers. They do not include hydrologists. Civil engineers are also associated with transportation engineers and water/wastewater engineers. They help in construction and maintenance of various buildings and facilities: roads, railroads, airports, bridges, and pipelines are a few.
