Advertising sales agents sell or solicit advertising. Excellent communicative and customer service skills are necessary, as sales agents need to be persuasive. They may sell air time on radio and television or space in print media. They may also interact with potential customers by introducing new products or promoting sales of old products via product demonstrations.
