Construction managers supervise the construction
of buildings, estimating costs, hiring contractors, and obtaining permits and
licenses. Traditionally, their experience in construction crafts qualifies them
for the role, but today certification and bachelor's degrees (e.g. building
science and construction management) are playing more important roles in a
competitive field.
