Technology Management Degrees

Keep in mind that while a degree is a crucial piece to your resume, you’ll want to pair some form of field experience with it to increase your value. A couple levels of degrees in technology management each have their own unique advantages.
Technology management degrees include:
- Bachelor’s – Usually gained within four years, the bachelor’s degree fosters the student’s development and management skills. The technology management bachelor’s is a flexible degree that melds nicely with an associate’s degree in some technical aspect, thus allowing a student to acquire the bachelor’s within two years. The technology management bachelor’s may work with a previous associate’s degree to create a focus within technology management. Some associate’s degrees that work well with the technology management bachelor’s include: computer science, accounting, finance, human resource management, project management, and sales.
- Master’s – The master’s degree furthers the training of students to deploy and develop technology uses for a wide variety of industries. Along with class lectures, an internship is often included to provide hands-on experience. The master’s helps provide the student with a combination of further education and work-related experience to create a more appealing candidate in the work force.
