MRI Degrees
Are you thinking about getting a medical
technician's degree but aren’t sure which is the right one for you?
Getting an MRI degree may be a fantastic option. Thanks to technological
developments, the MRI has become the most prominent tool in diagnosing
patients and thus demand for MRI technicians is growing significantly.
MRI degrees include:
- Diploma-
The diploma is ideal for those who have an associate’s in a science or
medical field and would like MRI training. It takes between one and two
years to obtain the diploma, with half the time being dedicated to class
work and the other half dedicated to hands-on experience.
- Associate’s-
The associate's degree is earned in about two years and provides the
student with the training needed to operate MRI equipment in a hospital
or health clinic. Much like the diploma, time will be split between
in-class instruction and hands-on experience. Upon getting the
associate’s, the student will be ready for licensure and entering the
workforce.
