- Associate’s – The associate’s degree teaches students about unique threats that are present in today’s society and ways to respond to them quickly and efficiently. - Master’s – Obtained two years after the bachelor’s, the master’s degree goes further to prepare the student for a career in homeland security. The master’s prepares the student with skills to identify and assess potential threats and vulnerabilities, as well as skills for procuring information.
